On Saturday April 21, relatives and friends joined The Fomunyoh Family for a wake keeping honoring the life of their beloved Pa James Fomunyoh: father, uncle and grandfather. He passed on February at age 85, leaving behind several children including Dr Chris Fomunyoh.

Dr. Fomunyoh , -scholar and think tanker, is a Senior Associate for Africa at National Democratic Institute in Washington, DC. The event took place on 207 West Hampton Place Hights, Maryland.


Cameroonian community in United States, particularly the Mugabu tribe, came in huge number to pay tribute to late Pa Kweti James Tah Fomunyoh who was a sub-chief in his native Guzangville, in North West Region of Cameroon. There were good words, fine food, fun dance and entertainment.
